East Meets West: The Anatomy of Acupuncture

Rich in history, Traditional Chinese Medicine has been around for close to 5000 years. While honoring both the efficacy and traditions, the last 25 years have seen great advancements in our understanding of this healing art.

Each acupuncture point corresponds to a specific anatomical structure or structures.  These can be muscles, nerves, and ligaments, to name a few.

It is the purpose of this course to provide a  detailed description of the relationship between traditional acupuncture points, their underlying anatomical structures, as well as a clinical guide to enhance patient outcomes.
